Download Mirror: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZNdSjtUuz7HAaXhLqPIN1nvezk8HgK05/view?usp=sharing Quick Fix for v1.0.0, not needed for v1.0.1+: The original download included the StartHere.dll mod. This mod REQUIRES a mapname preference to be set, otherwise, no map (not even Main Manu) gets loaded. Fix: Remove StartHere.dll OR add a UserData/modprefs.ini setting: [StartHere] SceneName=sandbox_blankBox Melon Vault: Showdown is Part 1 of a Boneworks Custom Map Campaign by GreasedScotsman that clocks in at roughly two hours of gameplay for first-time playthroughs. It features a full and sprawling story, puzzles, enhanced combat sequences and enemies that should challenge most Boneworks veterans, new physics interactions, unique movement, custom NPCs and a custom soundtrack. Please do NOT bug SLZ members or the official SLZ discord with questions about this map, game mods or other custom content. This map is not affiliated with SLZ in any way. TabloidA and Maranara are responsible for the map's incredible and entirely custom Environmental Art. A "How-To-Install" video guide can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1i8SiqgREM A text install guide is included in the download. Melon Vault is being released initially as a Public Beta as I'm sure issues will arise that will need fixing.
Changelog
Removed StartHere.dll to resolve issue where a blank modprefs.ini setting meant no map (not even Main Menu) got loaded.

Awesome mod! Has great gameplay, story, puzzles, everything! My only gripe is that at the end fight (right after the armory) it is RIDICULOUSLY laggy. I have a pretty beefy PC (GTX 1660, 16 GB RAM) and I only got around 5 fps in that area. The area itself seems fine, but is just not well optimized.

I know this is just a beta, but it crashes so often, like all of boneworks will crash. Is there any way I can circumvent this?

Okay so it was really intriguing and the levels looked quite interesting, but over the course of 10 minutes my FPS went from 60 in the spawn room to literally 4 - 10 when first encountering the cleanup crew. I am running this on a 3070, r5 3600x and 16GB DDR4 RAM and have no problem running modded Blade and Sorcery and Skyrim VR with ELFX, Skyrim 2020 Parallax textures and other graphics mods. It's a shame because this mod made me experience vertigo for the first time in many months and I would love to see where it goes. It really seems to make use of all the "tropes" or cool mechanics of Boneworks but right now it's just unplayable to me.

This mod is overly great. It really brings out what BONEWORKS really is, A Bad Ass Tech Demo. Its like gettin an Xbone 360 back in the 2000's and getting this lovely piece of art with it! P.S. When is SLZ gonna hire GreasedScotsman for Project 4 help? ;)

So I finished this today, and I recommend playing. There are a few glaring flaws with it though, mainly with the combat. Giant enemies that are just like normal enemies except you have to empty a whole mag into them + the tactic of "spawn a bajillion guys" only makes the game harder by tanking my frames and taking longer. Speaking of frames, I can run the entire game perfectly fine (including central station), but the final boss arena tanked my frames so hard I had to use the nimbus gun to skip the parkour. The first two phases didn't have music, and the final part of "shoot the boss a ton" wasn't that great either. Despite this, the mod is clearly one of the best out right now with lots of cool and unique ideas, and I'm looking forward to part 2 a lot.
