New update broke this mod, downloaded latest delimod files, redownloaded this mod, still doesnt work. Says in BepinEx logs " A manifest must contain at least one asset. " followed by, " Failed to create mod from archive: betterhands.deli ". Any ideas?
"Failed to create mod from archive" usually means a corrupt/bad download. Try downloading the mod again and make sure you are placing it in the "H3VR/deli/mods" folder.
Sill doesnt work, any possibility it could be BepinEx, it worked before the Big Patch update, so im not sure.
Do you have both Deli 0.3.1 or newer & BepInEx 5.4.5 or newer and have you updated H3VR to the newest update?

An update has yet to break this mod. Please review your bepinex logs to find the source of your error.
Heyo. I use the alternate magazine pose, do you know the rotation/setting so that it works with my settings?
Here are the position & rotations of the base game alt mag pose from what I can tell. All controllers use one of the below, so even if yours isn't listed, it is using one of them. Vive -- (0.067, -0.025, -0.061) pos & (-16.287, 4.335, -23.739) rot Rift -- (0.0475, 0.000, -0.104) pos & (-156.661, -91.871, 97.967) rot Rift S -- (0.051, 0.017, -0.092) pos & (-40.175, 54.191, -58.574) rot WMR -- (0.064, -0.007, -0.103) pos & (-63.948, 56.286, -61.624) rot

I havent been able to test it out but I use rift s and the palming is like upside down. It may not be the right rotation.
If you are still on the older BetterHands 1.0.0, that is because the palm posing used quickbelt poses rather than hand poses. You will need to fiddle with the rotation setting to get it to line up the same. This was changed in BetterHands 1.1.0, so that one should line up.
was wondering if you could add the function of bolt switching to the safety button for streamlined controls similar to how an open slide handgun uses the safety button to close the chamber, and how seeing Anton doesn't have any interest in making bolt actions fun to use with streamlined controls feels fitting a Modder do it, just a suggestion
Does this work with the Rift S? I installed the mod but I cant get any response from it.
As far as I am aware, this works for all controllers. If you are getting no response, BepInEx or Deli are likely not running correctly & are preventing BetterHands from loading.
so I have a question it says I need both BepInEx 5.4 and Deli 0.2.5. for better hands to work but I just wanna make sure when I download them do I put them in my main h3vr directory or somewhere else I'm pretty new to this stuff so idrk what I'm doing

If the mod installer got BepInEx for you already you shouldn't need to. But yes you would drag and drop into h3vr directory and click replace all.
ok for the then beplnEx do i just drag and drop into my directory and do i relpace the files?
Drag and drop the two folders inside Deli-v0.2.5.zip into h3vr directory.
ok right now it shows that i do have a beplnEx folder i think i got it when i downloaded the mod installer so now i just need the deli when i download the deli do i extract the folder into my h3vr directory or just drag and drop the contents in the folder?
If you have discord it is easier to walkthrough/troubleshoot on the Deli server (invite link on the GitHub page).
Otherwise, you download & open both the BepInEx and Deli releases and then drag their contents out into the main h3vr directory. If done correctly, you should have a new "BepInEx" and "mods" folder along with 3 new files in your h3vr directory.
